Just to let you all know I did not get the job.  Which is ok.  It would have been nice knowing that I had a job for next year, but God has a bigger and better plan for me.  I am working on getting to know God deeper and surrendering everything to Him.  I want Him to have complete control and all of my thoughts.  I want to fall so in love with Him that He is all I think about.  I can not wait to see His plan for me. I hope that all is going well for everyone.

Hey everyone!  I know I haven't been on in a while so I thought I would leave an update.  A week ago this past Thursday I started subbing full time for a teacher that is on maternity leave.  So yesterday I finished my first full week at one school it was tiring but great at the same time.  I hope all is going well and I will talk to you later.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday, January 27, 2008

Ok so I have been struggling with some things the past couple of days and last night I went to the Bible.   The one place that I know I can get some real advice.  I ended up at my favorite verse Psalm 37:4 and the first thing that I saw was Steps to work through a difficult time, it's amazing what God does for His children and lovers because this was perfect.  It just made me cry even more and a peace just came over me when I read it.

"Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.  Trust in the Lord and do good;  dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.  Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this:  He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.  Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.  Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret it leads only to evil.  For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land."  Psalm 37:1-9

I have to get ready for church so I will have to come back later.  I hope this helps any one who is struggling right now it sure helped me.

In Christ,

Laura
